| Abstract | O principal objetivo deste trabalho é estimar as áreas que apresentam alta variabilidade intra e intersazonal no Bioma Pantanal no período de 2000 a 2008 através dos produtos multitemporais do índice de vegetação (Enhanced Vegetation Index, EVI) extraídos das imagens do sensor Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS). O produto EVI é um dos mais apropriado para o estudo da variabilidade de mudança do uso do solo. Após a aquisição das imagens do produto MOD13 (Índice de Vegetação) foram calculadas as médias para o período da estação de seca e a média anual para estes anos. Com as composições de 16 dias de EVI foram obtidas as componentes principais e realizadas a segmentação, a classificação e o levantamento de áreas desmatadas. Com os resultados foram criados mapas da localização das áreas de alta variabilidade das alterações de uso do solo para o Pantanal brasileiro, cuja ocorrência indicou serem as regiões com grandes influências das atividades agropecuárias, portanto esta avaliação colaborará para a melhor compreensão da expansão e monitoramento dos principais processos de degradação antropogênica nesta região. ABSTRACT: The main goal of this work is to estimate the areas with high annual variability in the Pantanal biome from 2000 to 2008 period, through the multitemporal vegetation index product (Enhanced Vegetation Index, EVI) acquired from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) sensor. EVI product is one of the most suitable vegetation index to study the variability in land-use changes. With MOD13 (EVI vegetation index product), monthly averages, the average for dry season and annual average were performed and the principal components were extracted, segmented and classified to identify deforested areas. With the results, high variability areas that represent land-use changes were created for Brazilian Pantanal, indicating regions of agricultural activities influence. Therefore, this study could better understanding and monitoring anthropogenic expansion and degradation. |
